In 2013, 11-year-old Yoyo, Rou and their friends at Zing-Nan Elementary School, New Taipei City, realised that immigrant children feel at a loss in a new culture and education system. To help them integrate smoothly, they created learning aids to support subject-teaching, taught popular Taiwanese rituals, and created a newsletter with important information about Taiwanese culture.
