In 2012, 19-year-old Wakan, Amber and Brandi of Crazy Horse School found that students feel disengaged at school, turn to alcohol or drugs, and drop out. They designed interesting activities to motivate younger students and help them connect with each other through play, and organised a parent night to raise awareness and get their support.
