People everywhere are looking for opportunities to make our world a better place. But... How? What? Where?

Design for Change is a unique project on so many levels. First of all its kid-driven. The ideas and initiative come from the students, and adults are there just to guide and mentor. 

 

  

The projects are bottom up, not top down. The ideas for change are produced at the local level not imposed by outsiders.

Because the projects are only limited by the imagination of the children, they are diverse. From Environmental, Social, Educational, Emergency Relief, and just plain FUN.

Its life changing--these students, or at least some percentage of them--will realize that community activism is not only possible but useful, exciting and fun! if we can open and change even one mind Design for Change has been an incredible success.

We are proud to work with DFC and look forward to expanding the project this year and every year to come.
