In 2013, students from The Galaxy School, Rajkot, Gujarat, developed an initiative Spare a Care to help senior citizens become engaged, independent and connected. This was facilitated through several programmes like Share-a-skill, Share-a-Carriage, Share-a-Moment. They also reached out to neglected slum kids by bringing them in to play with elders at an old age home.
